5 Tips to Increase Your Brand Awareness

We’ve previously discussed how your property management can benefit from brand awareness, and now, it’s time to build a more detailed strategy.

Be a person, not a company

When you get to know a new friend, what do you like to discover about them? You may want to learn about hobbies, passions, likes and dislikes as well as attention to how they speak, what they like to talk about, and what gets them excited.


These are the traits your brand should determine and promote about itself. To leave an impact with your audience, define yourself as more than a company that sells a service. How else would you define yourself? What words would you use if you had to introduce your brand to a new friend?

Be social

To raise awareness of your brand, you’ve got to be social. Post on social media about things not just related to your product or services. Interact with your audience by asking questions, commenting on posts, or sharing content you like. Treat your social accounts as if you were a person trying to make friends, not a business trying to make money.

Tell a narrative

Storytelling is an incredibly powerful marketing tactic, whether you’re marketing products or promoting your brand. Crafting a narrative around your brand humanises it and gives it depth. What should your narrative be about? Anything, as long as it’s true. It can be the narrative of your founder or the story of how your small business made it in this big world.

Co-marketing

Co-marketing allows you to take advantage of another brand’s audience and can highlight who you are and what you offer in the marketplace. As a property management agency, you have the opportunity to co-market with, for example, sales agents, mortgage brokers, financial advisors and other professionals who your clients could benefit from.

Create valuable content

Content raises awareness of your brand and can show personality as you share opinions and your position on issues. This can come in the form of videos, infographics, checklists, ebooks, and more. By providing useful content, you’re able to connect with an audience while getting your brand name in front of people.
